The Moderno is Back – Refined, Evolved, and Ready to Play.

I’m happy to announce that my Moderno ukulele is once again available to order.
The Moderno was one of the very first models I ever defined as a “true model” back in 2012, alongside the Antico. Until then, each instrument I built was completely unique — but these two models marked the beginning of my journey toward creating consistent, signature designs.

This new version brings the Moderno into a new era. After being out of production for some time, it now features key elements I’ve developed and refined through my recent work on the Galileo model — most notably, a radial bracing system and a angledsoundboard, both of which have proven to enhance resonance and response.

Alongside these technical improvements, the Moderno also gets a fresh new look, with updated bindings and a redesigned scoop cutaway.

It’s a return to my roots — but with everything I’ve learned along the way.
