Allegro

Allegro Sopranino is Antica Ukuleleria’s little one.
The sound is punchy and unexpectedly powerful compared to its dimension: while it’s not full and rich like the sound of a standard size uke it has its own character (it reminds me of an old valve radio) which will continue to grow the more you use it.
And most of all…it’s super cute!

The body comes from a single carved piece of cherry or chestnut wood.
Standard soundboard is made with the same wood of the body, but it can be upgraded to the reliable Red Spruce to have more volume. Please note that spruce is more delicate and will show the normal signs of wear more quickly.

A special string setting allows this sopranino model to sound clear and loud to the standard GCEA tuning despite the small scale lenght (28cm).

The Allegro Sopranino features a body carved from a single solid block of cherry or chestnut wood. Its dimensions and curves are intentionally designed to make use of offcuts from the larger Galileo model, turning leftover wood into a super cute, eco-conscious instrument.

The Allegro Sopranino is available in two visual styles: a minimalist, undecorated version that highlights the natural beauty of the wood, or a more refined look featuring a simple black binding along the top edge.
Both versions maintain the instrument’s sleek design, letting you choose between natural simplicity and a touch of refined accent.

Options

The Allegro Sopranino comes in three variations, each shaped by carefully selected woods:
– Cherry body: offers a warm, round sound with a mellow character.
– Chestnut body: produces a brighter, more percussive tone with sharp, clear attack.
– Red Spruce soundboard upgrade: available with either body wood, this option boosts volume, clarity, and overall responsiveness for a more dynamic playing experience.
